My friends and I had a private styling event here on Monday with Daron. What a tremendous experience!!! She had researched our sizes and likes. It was so much fun, not to mention I learned so much. A delightful time!!! So relaxed and comfortable.

A beautiful boutique. An amazing inventory of styles and sizes for all ladies. Great selection of beautiful clothes, shoes and accessories. Owner, Babs, stylist, Daron and all employees were above and beyond helpful with the Charbonneau Women’s Club 2025 Fashion Show. We all had a wonderful experience and have found the perfect spot to shop. Thank you.

What a wonderful shop. I had never been in before and was there to be fitted for a ladies group fashion show. Babs and Daron picked out clothing that fit my style and my shape perfectly. I ended up buying a few items and will go back. The women that were models and those in the audience liked what they saw.

This was my first visit since you moved from Lake Grove. I know, I know! Way too long and lots of water under the bridge. I met Babs, who searched for my size in sale sandals, set up a fitting room for me and we found a perfect summer blouse for the hot weather to come. My twin sister introduced me to "The Diff" many years ago and she was a loyal client until her passing this January. Visiting your "new" shop was like coming home to friends and family. I could feel Mary shopping right beside me. Thank you for being here! I will see you soon. XOXOXO

I had a personal styling session with Nicole and it was the most fun I’ve ever had while shopping! I’ve never been in a dressing room curated with more things that made me feel confident and put together. I don’t usually like shopping for myself, as I don’t know what styles, fits, and colors look good on my body type, and it’s difficult finding things that fit me. How she managed to pull 6-7 different pairs of jeans that all fit perfectly is beyond me. It was truly such an amazing experience and I walked away feeling more confident knowing what to look for when shopping. The boutique has so many different and interesting pieces, and they source new items every week. My new favorite place!

Just left from an appointment with Nicole as my personal stylist and had the best time. She was extremely professional, kind, and genuine. She listened to my needs and when it came to my concerns about footwear she managed to find me not one, not two, but THREE pairs of shoes that I fell in love with. I didn’t know what to expect as boutiques don’t typically have a large inventory, but let me tell you that she exceeded in every possible. I am always willing to spend more for quality pieces and had no idea just how much quality I would find there. Her coworker Babs also helped share in this wonderful experience and I felt so comfortable talking with them through the process. I will be doing this again and I highly recommend to anyone looking to shop locally. Nicole if you are reading this, I’d give you 10 stars if google would allow it. Thanks again!

I am not a shopper girl. Never have been. May never be. I was introduced to The Difference years ago and it's perfect for me! My personal stylist, Babs, knows me, knows my size, knows what colors work best on me and my style preferences. I can just call her or walk in and tell her what I'm looking for and she will pull a collection of things for me to try on without having to spend an abudance of time browsing endless racks at other retailers for something to just pop out at me. It has become a treat for me to go there versus the chore it used to be to run around the mall for half a day. All of their pieces including clothing, shoes and accessories are thoughtfully purchased, are great quality at affordable prices, and they take the time show you how to mix and match the items you select. A true bonus for a woman who doesn't like to shop or keep up on the latest trends. I always feel so confident and chic when I go out in one of the outfits I purchase there. Do yourself a favor and go there. You won't regret it!

I absolutely love shopping at this woman owned boutique in Lake Oswego. Shopping was always “painful” for me but from the moment I walked in a few years ago, the atmosphere was welcoming, friendly and fun. The staff truly care and makes every visit feel personal and enjoyable. A special shout out to my personal stylist Babs- she is fantastic. She has a wonderful way of encouraging me to try pieces that are a bit out of my comfort zone, and somehow they end up making me smile. She helps me explore styles that feel youthful, stylist and confidence -boosting, without ever being pushy or overwhelming. The clothing is thoughtfully curated- affordable, high quality and easy to wear. This boutique is a gem and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a positive and fun shopping experience.

Absolutely LOVE The Difference! Kirsti at the Lake Oswego location will have your closet completely on point. She thoughtfully curates pieces specifically for your styling session, while also encouraging you to try items you might not normally reach for—and they usually end up being favorites. If you haven’t given them a chance yet, do it!!
